On the afternoon of July 1, 2019, in order to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, Chengdu Lawyers Association held a “7·1” commemorative event and poetry recitation among Chengdu lawyers, on the theme of “Chengdu lawyers are forging ahead, with staying true to our founding mission”. Approved by the Party Committee of Chengdu Bureau of Justice, the Party Committee of Chengdu Lawyers Association commended the advanced party organizations, advanced party members and advanced party affair workers in Chengdu Lawyers Profession in 2019. The Party Branch of ZhongYin (Chengdu) won the honorary title of “Advanced Party Organization in Chengdu Lawyers Profession” in 2019. The event participants also recalled fondly the revolutionary martyrs in the form of poetry recitation, praising the Chinese communists’ revolutionary spirit of firmly believing in communism without fear of sacrifice, the great feats of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, and the greatness and glory of the Chinese Communist Party.

2019 will witness the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as the 40th anniversary of the restoration and reconstruction of the lawyer system. Liu Zihou, Deputy Director of Chengdu Bureau of Justice and Secretary of Party Committee of Chengdu Lawyers Profession, required party organizations at all levels and all party members to effectively enhance the “four consciousness”, hold “self-confident in four respects”, and safeguard “two positions”, and to resolutely perform various tasks to deep the reform of the lawyer system. Standing at the historical starting point of the new era, with staying true to our founding mission, they are required to make active contribution to building China into a country under the rule of law, and work hard to build Chengdu into a national central city.

The Party Branch of ZhongYin (Chengdu) was established in August 2017. Since its establishment, it has been putting great efforts into providing faith education and strengthening sense of discipline and responsibility, realizing the mutual improvement of Party building and firm building. The honorary title of “Advanced Party Organization in Chengdu Lawyers Profession” represents the full affirmation by the Party Committee of Chengdu Lawyers Association of the Party building work of the Party Branch of ZhongYin (Chengdu). In the future, the Party Branch of ZhongYin (Chengdu) is required to continue to provide education on original intentions and missions, and strengthen the sense of responsibility and duty of its members; recognize its gap with other advanced Party branches, learn from their experience, and do all work according to high standards; enrich the meaning of and compose a new chapter for the Party building work in Chengdu in the new era.
